Kyle specializes in the clinical application of Counterstrain and earned his Strain and Counterstrain Certification from The Jones Institute in 2017. In 2012, he took his first Counterstrain course and quickly realized the power of the technique through the successful treatment of his patients symptoms and the alleviation of pain they experienced. Outside of The Jones Institute, Kyle serves as faculty within the San Diego State University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program teaching the Clinical Anatomy course and dissection lab to first year DPT students. He additionally is adjunct faculty at the University of Miami Doctor of Physical Therapy Program where he teaches an annual 2-day Counterstrain elective to the 3rd year physical therapy students.

Kyle joined The Jones Institute as a Lab Instructor in 2015 and now manages the domestic administration of courses in addition to his teaching responsibilities. In 2020, Kyle developed the teaching curriculum for The Jones Institutes Anatomy Department, a department he is now teaching within and plans to grow.
